Résumé de l’étude

Ce travail personnel de fin d’étude dont le thème s’intitule « Sauvegarde et valorisation du Patrimoine immatériel béninois : Proposition d’un centre de promotion des rythmes et danses traditionnels du Bénin à Porto-Novo » a pour but de contribuer à la valorisation des rythmes et danses traditionnels à travers un centre capable de susciter l’attention des béninois et permettre à ces derniers de se réimprégner de leurs rythmes et danses traditionnels.

Les rythmes et danses traditionnels occupent une grande place en Afrique et au Bénin. Ils correspondent à la diversité des ethnies et permettent d’exprimer divers types d’émotions. Constituant un patrimoine immatériel et touristique très riche, les rythmes et danses traditionnels du Bénin sont malheureusement méconnus de la jeunesse béninoise. Les raisons expliquant cet état de chose sont multiples. Au nombre de ces dernières l’on peut énumérer l’absence de cadres appropriés pour la pratique de ces rythmes et danses.

C’est pour apporter un essai de solution à ces insuffisances qui gangrènent les rythmes et danses traditionnels que nous avons proposé notre projet. Ainsi, notre étude se subdivise en deux parties :

Dans la première partie nous avons fait une analyse diagnostique du Bénin et nous nous sommes appesantis sur le secteur culturel et en particulier sur les rythmes et danses traditionnels du Bénin.

Dans la seconde partie, nous proposons l’aménagement du centre de promotion des rythmes et danse traditionnels que nous que nous implantons dans la ville de Porto-Novo.

Abstract

The topic of our personal work of fending study is about: saving and valuation of Benin immaterial patrimony: Proposal of patrimonial center of Benin’s traditional rythms and dances at Porto-Novo.

The purpose of this project is to contribute in valuation of traditional rythms and dances through a center which is would be able to arouse the attention of Beninese (Benin people) and allow them to immerse in their traditional rythms and dances.

Traditional rythms and dances are very important in Africa and especially in Benin. They are linked with the diversity of ethnic group and they could express many kind emotions. In addition traditional rythms and dances are rich immaterial and touristic patrimony. However, they are not well known by Benin’s youth. They are many reasons which explain this fact. We can list the lack of appropriate spaces for practices of those rythms and dances.

We suggest by this project to give a solution to the deficiency with effect the sector of traditional rythms and dances. Then our study is in two parts:

In the first part, we have done a diagnostic analysis of Benin. We dwell on cultural sector especially on traditional rythms and dances of Benin.

In the second part, we have suggested the development of our promotional center of traditional rythms and dances which will be build at Porto- Novo.
